LOCAL LAKE INFORMATION
Lake Arrowhead
Lake Arrowhead is a sand bottom lake covering 350 acres with a maximum depth of 35 feet.
It is excellent for water sports of all kinds. Located in a prime recreational area near several other lakes, restaurants, two championship golf courses, and two casinos within a short distance.
Lake Camelot and Lake Sherwood
Lake Camelot and Sherwood offer many opportunities for fun in the sun. Camping is allowed for property owners from April to November with a permit. Both are sandy bottom lakes fed from the 14 Mile Creek.Area amenities are restaurants, golf courses and many trails used for hiking, ATV’S and snowmobiles.
Castle Rock Lake
Castle Rock Lake is over 14,000 acres making it the fourth largest lake in the state with several public boat launches and a county park. It is great for boating ,swimming and fishing. Area amenities include the area’s newest golf course, restaurants, and access to Adams and Juneau counties.
Lake Petenwell
This lake is located between Adams and Juneau counties and covers over 23,000 acres making it the second largest lake in Wisconsin. It is excellent for skiing, sailing, or fishing and has one of the largest populations of wintering bald eagles in Wisconsin. Area amenities include excellent restaurants, public golf courses, and ATV/snowmobile trails.

Northern Bay
Northern Bay Golf Course is the newest Golf Course in Adams County and features Replica Holes and is located on the 4th largest lake in Wisconsin, Castle Rock.
Lake Arrowhead The Lakes Course
Featuring water hazards on seven of the eighteen holes, the newest Lake Arrowhead course is not for the faint of heart or the errant driver. It rewards the accurate and punishes the gambler. Perhaps this combination of scenic beauty and well-bunkered beast is why The Lakes was nominated as one of Golf Digest’s Best New Public Course in America in 1999.
Lake Arrowhead The Pines Course
The original 18 hole championship course. The Pines is a Golf Digest 4 ½ Star Places to Play Award Winner and ranked among their top 75 public courses in America. Tucked among tall pines and lush woodlands, it provides the ultimate golf experience for players of all skill levels .Opened in 1982, The Pines has matured into the golfing equivalent of a fine wine.
Adams-Friendship Mound View Course
Mound View Golf Course is 9-hole par 36 course located on Hwy J in Friendship. It offers club rentals ,motorized carts, pro shop and a dining room which is open to the public.
